why we started
it started
with his back.
He worked outside for forty years, and the last twenty he spent reaching for a towel from the stove. Hold it on. Too hot. Wait. Already going cold.
We went looking for something that just stayed warm. Properly warm, for long enough to actually help. We tried a lot of things that didn’t. We found two that did – one for his back, one for his hands – and we’ve been sending them to people ever since.
We didn’t invent warmth. We just found the right way to hold it.
